The joy and the challenge – help for new parents
Welcoming a new baby into the family is an exciting time, but it can also be a time when you need some extra support. Our QSMC registered Child and Family Health Nurse, Nicki Vukasin has many years experience in helping new parents – she’s provided these great resources available locally and on the web. These organisations will help you find the information and support you need – click on the links provided. There’s help available for breastfeeding problems, sleep and settling issues or if you are feeling sad or overwhelmed. Remember too, you can always speak to your doctor and our nurses for professional support and advice.
